Where’s Tiger? | 1/22/2010

Despite being a strong and powerful predator, the tiger is an endangered species with not many more than a thousand left in the wild. Peter reports that depression set in when reading about their plight, so for the inscriptions on “Leaps and Bounds”, he carved trivia that would make him smile, including references to Tony “they’re grrreat” the Tiger, A.A. Milne’s Tigger, and Hobbs of “Calvin and Hobbs” fame. Open the lid to reveal a fire hydrant and bent golf club, in homage to the world’s most famous and currently elusive tiger.

Peter has created two colorways for “Leaps and Bounds” – black/white and red/brown – both in editions of 250. Versions 1 and 2 arrive stateside end of March. By that time, perhaps a favourite swinging tiger will have returned to the links.
